Use a Computer

The library has public computers with Internet access.


  • The library has 7 computers with Internet access.
  • These computers are directly across from the circulation desk
  • Programs include: Microsoft Office, Word, Access, Excel, Front Page, and Powerpoint are loaded on most of the computers.
  • Each used is allowed up to 2 hours per day, in 1/2 hour sessions.  These sessions can run concurrently, if no one else is waiting.
  • To use the computers, all users must sign in at the circulation desk.  Users must have a valid computer user card. 
  • Children under age 18 must have a parent come in to the library to read the Internet policy and sign the card.
  • A black and white printer is available for printing.
  • There are 4 computers without Internet access which may be used by any age.
  • The Library now also has the capability of good wireless connections. No passwords are necessary to access our network.  There are power outlets but no data plugs at each of the main tables in case you need power.


The Internet policy is available in the director's office or call the library at 712-423-1733 with questions.
