National Sew Day at the Onawa Public Library 

     Join us on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 1 to 5 P.M., at the Onawa Public Library for a Quilts of Valor National Sew Day. This is a national day of sewing while we create comforting and healing Quilts of Valor for our Service Members and Veterans.   All supplies will be provided.  

     While you’re sewing and having fun, you can see a few favorite things, learn a new pattern for a block or the longarm, and a few other surprises. 

     Several Quilts of Valor have been presented in our community.  Are you interested in helping?  Here is your chance to see and hear about this wonderful project that recognizes our Veterans for their service.
