Author Visit Jacqueline Reinig
Jun 19, 2025, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

quillsnap.jpg    Jacqueline Reinig.jpg

Meet the Author: Jacqueline Reinig, a retired nurse from a small town in the Midwest, discovered her passion for storytelling and writing during her childhood. She was inspired by the weekly visits of the city bookmobile to rural towns, where she would immerse herself in enchanting tales of adventure. Drawing inspiration from the enchanted forest on the farm where she lives, she has completed her first magical fantasy novel. The stories of faeries she once shared with her grandchildren have now been brought to life in the “Faery Academy of QuillSnap.” For more information, visit www.jacquelinereinig.com.

Faery Acadamy of Quillsnap follows Tansy WaterSprite, a thimble-sized Cinderella, as she attempts to escape the human realm and her evil guardian, Merkel. Guided by courage and unexpected allies, Tansy embarks on a daring journey to the Faery Academy of QuillSnap, a school unlike any other, where students must prove their worth to earn their wings. Along the way, she faces adversity and danger, fights for her life, and finds answers to hidden secrets she never knew existed.

Kiwanis
Jun 23, 2025, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Kiwanis helps kids around the world. Local clubs look out for our communities and the international organization takes on large-scale challenges, such as fighting disease and poverty. We are generous with our time. We are creative with our ideas. We are passionate about making a difference. And we have fun along the way.

For more than a century, Kiwanis has created opportunities for children to be curious, safe and healthy regardless of the community in which they live. When you give a child the chance to learn, experience, dream, grow, succeed and thrive, great things can happen.
